What better way to talk about climate than to do so outdoors, in direct contact with the elements?
From May 7 to July 13, 2025, the historic Potager du Roi in Versailles hosts Nous… the Climate, a public, open-air exhibition, both a manifesto and a shared experience, as part of the 3rd Biennial of Architecture and Landscape of Île-de-France (Bap!).
In this emblematic site — the birthplace of the landscape profession — the Agence TER has invited Studio 5•5 to design the scenography and exhibition path, continuing a collaboration begun in Montpellier and pursued through the Olympic Village project, in close dialogue with the École nationale supérieure de paysage and the Potager du Roi.
A Living Scenography, Weather-Proof
The scenography conceived by Studio 5•5 evolves with the natural elements. Sun, wind, or rain: the weather changes how the exhibition is read and how it’s felt. You visit the exhibition alongside the gardeners of the Potager… but also with the weather, insects, pollens, and the sounds of the living world. Each visit becomes unique, shaped by the climate and the season. Sunglasses, sunscreen, parasol or umbrella — it’s up to you to adapt your gear — and your attention — to the neighbours and the climate of the day.
