Eklo is developing a form of hospitality that is both accessible and environmentally responsible :  two values that we fully share at Studio 5•5.

When the brand invited us to rethink its identity, we wanted to go back to the essentials: what is a responsible hotel? Too often, ecological approaches in hospitality are reduced to everyday gestures. Yet the greatest impact actually occurs much earlier, starting with construction.

And this is precisely where Eklo’s uniqueness lies: the brand builds its own hotels. This strength allows it to control its impact from the construction site through to the building’s energy performance.

We translated this idea through a simple and universal shape: the house. Already present in the brand’s manifesto, it became a symbol of the new identity. It evokes hospitality, a place to live, and Eklo’s commitment to more sustainable architecture.

The aim was also to tell the story of the brand’s commitments in an open, positive and accessible tone : a joyful approach to ecology.

For this project, the studio was responsible for the graphic identity (excluding the logo), the design of communication tools, the website, as well as the digital guidelines for social media.
