Overview

The Square is a place of meeting, exchange, resources thought of as a small public place allowing to present all the solutions of facades and frames of the Reyaners group and its building partners. A place where architects and manufacturers meet in search of solutions for sustainable and energy-efficient buildings.

OUR COMMITMENTS ON THE PROJECT

• Profile and offcuts used for the manufacture of furniture
• Flexible and reversible layout without impact on the building
• Support a frame manufacturer committed to the creation and rehabilitation of energy-efficient buildings with cradle to cradle products

Branding

The Square is a place of meeting, of exchange, thought as a small public place allowing to present all the solutions of facades and frames of the Reyaners group and its partners, where architects and manufacturers meet.

Scraps and raw profiles, from Forster and Reynaers aluminum production, were used to manufacture the furniture. We have therefore done the same for the identity, where the profile, the line, are used as raw material for the construction of the graphic identity, as one builds architecture.

As a marker of this work, we used glazing bead scraps to offer a laser-engraved ruler, intended to be given to visitors, whose dimensions vary according to the length of the remaining elements.

Architecture & retail

The Square is a place of meeting, exchange, resources thought of as a small public place allowing to present all the solutions of facades and frames of the Reyaners group and its building partners. A place where architects and manufacturers meet in search of solutions for sustainable and energy-efficient buildings.

This shared place is also a place of work, development and finalization of architectural projects. It is therefore natural that we wanted to give more character to this existing place by bringing back identity furniture, while highliting the know-how and the manufacturing processes of the different construction solutions presented. Dismountable and mobile layout tools, intended to live in this place but can be duplicated and/or moved for events and layouts outside the walls.

For the sake of reflection in the circular economy, scraps and raw profiles, from Forster and Reynaers aluminum production, were used to manufacture the furniture, but also existing industrial products and solutions that we sourced and twisted from the group's manufacturing workshops.

Shelves-rack, suspension-profiles, bench-trolley, allow you to immerse yourself in the know-how of the transformation of aluminum and steel while staging the reference sites of each manufacturer. The whole constituting a “green space” which reminds us of the primary destination of the facades and frames, between interior and exterior of the architecture.

Our commitments on the project:

• Profile and offcuts used for the manufacture of furniture
• Flexible and reversible layout without impact on the building
• Support a frame manufacturer committed to the creation and rehabilitation of energy-efficient buildings with cradle to cradle products
